Polish company Olavion buys four more Dragon2 locomotives from Newag
Polish rail freight operator Olavion (part of the Unimot Capital Group) is purchasing four more six-axle DC Dragon2 locomotives from Newag. The total value of the order is PLN 75 million.
CTL Logistics sells 37 freight wagons
Polish company CTL Logistics has announced a tender for the sale of 37 freight wagons. The first stage of the tender will last until January 10, after which the shortlisted companies will be invited to the second stage.
European Loc Pool to receive ten new dual-system EuroDual locomotives from Stadler
The Swiss leasing company European Loc Pool has ordered 10 new EuroDual locomotives from Stadler, with delivery scheduled for 2025-2026. The total number of the company’s traction rolling stock will be 114 units, including 84 EuroDual locomotives and 30 Euro 9000 locomotives.
DB Cargo Romania to see April delivery of 27th TransMontana from Softronic
DB Cargo Romania, a subsidiary of DB Cargo AG, is expanding its fleet of locomotives manufactured by Sofronic Craiova: late last year it was to receive a TransMontana (TM 082), and is expected to receive a TM 085 in April 2024.
Production and offer prices of heavy rolling stock castings in Ukraine
Kremenchuk Steel Works did not produce large railway steel castings in November 2023. The total production of large railway steel castings at the factory reached about 9,200 t in the period from January 1 to November 30, 2023.

Deliveries of CZ LOKO locomotives scheduled for 2024
The Czech manufacturer CZ LOKO will produce five new EffiShunters 1000 locomotives for the carrier Trainpoint Norway and nine for the Swedish logistics company Railcare AB. An additional 20 locomotives have been contracted for Sweden; negotiations are underway for deliveries in 2025-2028.
