Ventspils Freeport cargo turnover in January 2025
The Ventspils Freepor reported handling of 879,000 t of cargo of various types in January 2025, which is 9% or 74,000 t above December 2024.

Exports of Ukrainian agri products: 86% of cargo shipped via Danube and Odesa ports
In January 2025, approximately 86% of Ukraine’s agricultural exports were shipped from the Danube and Odesa ports. This was announced by Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Vitalii Koval during a joint meeting of the government and the European Commission.
