Ukraine’s 2024-25 grain exports down 17% y-o-y
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, almost 37.5 million tons of grains were delivered to foreign markets from Ukraine in the period from 1 July 2024 (the start of the current marketing year) and to 21 May 2025, which is 17% below the same period in MY 2023-24.

Soybean processing capacities to be increased in Ukraine
Astarta Agroholding and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) have signed an agreement to finance the construction of Ukraine’s first soy protein concentrate plant, with investments of up to $40 million. In addition, the plant will also produce soybean molasses, a by-product of the production, for its own biogas needs.

LTG Infra (the infrastructure company of LTG Group, Lithuania) plans to extend the construction of the Rail Baltica high-speed railway by another 114 km this year and has announced a new public tender. It is about the construction of an embankment and engineering structures on the Berciunai – Joniskelis section.
