Medway, the Portuguese rail freight operator owned by MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Company), has leased six E494 Alstom Traxx locomotives from Akiem leasing company.

102 new intermodal wagons from Ermewa for Mercitalia Logistics
Since July of this year, the French leasing company Ermewa has delivered 102 new intermodal wagons to Mercitalia Logistics, which is part of the Italian state railroad (Gruppo FS Italiane). Tatravagonka has built four-axle Sgmmnss 40′ railcars in Poprad, Slovakia.
LOTOS Kolej buys 10 new locomotives manufactured by PESA Bydgoszcz SA
Polish railway operator LOTOS Kolej of the ORLEN Group has signed a contract for the purchase of 10 GAMA electric locomotives from PESA (a Polish concern specializing in the production and modernization of locomotives, wagons, etc.) Under the contract, the manufacturer is to deliver all locomotives in 2H 2024.

CTL to receive 115 tank cars for European gauge
The Transport Logistics Center branch of Ukrzaliznytsia has held a tender for the purchase of 115 tank cars for the 1,435 mm gauge. The rolling stock is to be delivered by December 31, 2023.

Rolling stock leasing operator Alpha Trains and manufacturer Stadler have signed an agreement to purchase 12 Euro9000 locomotives; the contract was signed by Fernando Pérez, CEO of Alpha Trains Group, and Iñigo Parra, CEO of Stadler Valencia.
