According to a press release from GATX Rail Europe, Sggrs(s) 9480A container flatcars, which were leased to Croatian freight carrier ENNA Transport this summer, are already in operation on routes through Croatia, Hungary, and Serbia.
Note that the agreement between GATX and ENNA Transport was signed at the Transport Logistic 2025 trade fair in Munich in June this year.
ENNA Transport is Croatia’s leading private freight operator and one of the key players in the regional intermodal sector (with a market share of over 20%). The company is part of the ENNA Group and is actively developing container logistics in Southeast Europe. The commissioning of the Rijeka Gateway container terminal (a joint venture with Maersk Line), which began operations in September, was an important step towards expanding transport capabilities in the region.
Biljana Tejic, Sales Manager at GATX Rail Europe:
“Partnering with ENNA Transport marks another milestone for GATX Rail Europe in supporting the intermodal growth of Southeast Europe. We’re proud to deliver reliable, high-quality railcars that keep goods moving efficiently and sustainably.”
