Interpipe announces that it has mastered the production of pump and compressor pipes with PTFE sealing rings, which allows the company to strengthen its position in the segment of high-tech products for the oil and gas industry.
Special rings purchased in the US have been integrated into the company’s production process. Thread cutting is carried out at the Interpipe Niko Tube site. A special technology has been implemented to fulfil the project, in particular, a tool for cutting grooves in rings has been used.
Teflon rings are used to increase the resistance of pipes to external pressure, simultaneously ensuring the additional internal sealing. This solution extends the service life of the products and meets the requirements of the American Petroleum Institute (API) standards for certain types of connections.
