Ukrainian wagon building enterprises all together sold 96 freight wagons in October 2023, including 73 hoppers, 20 flat cars and 3 tank cars.
Production and offer prices of large railway castings in Ukraine
Approximately 1,200 t of large railway steel castings were produced at the Kremenchuk Steel Works in October 2023. The total production averaged some 9,200 t during the period started January 1 and ended October 31, 2023.

LDZ Cargo puts 47 freight wagons up for auction
LDZ Cargo, a subsidiary of Latvian Railways, will auction 47 freight cars that were excluded from the company’s inventory. The auction is scheduled for December 12, and the starting price per unit of rolling stock is €220,000.
European Locomotive Leasing Group and Siemens Mobility sign agreement for 200 Vectron locomotives
Siemens Mobility, a German manufacturer, and European Locomotive Leasing Group (ELL), a Vienna and Munich-based company, have signed an agreement for the additional supply of up to 200 Vectron locomotives. This is the fourth agreement between ELL and Siemens Mobility.

Freightliner PL receives another 20 new wagons from GBX Leasing Europe
Over the past month, the Polish rail freight carrier Freightliner PL has expanded its rolling stock fleet by 55 Eamnos open wagons, which it received from the leasing company Greenbrier.
New intermodal platforms in GTS Rail fleet
The Italian logistics company GTS Rail plans to increase its fleet of intermodal platforms by 54 more wagons. They are to be delivered by early 2024. The total investment will amount to €7 million.
