The German technology group Vossloh has announced that a new production facility has been opened in Niezowe Skalmeżyce (southwestern Poland) to manufacture Engineered Polymer Sleeper (EPS).

French leasing company Ermewa has delivered the first batch of new Eamnos wagons to Polish rail freight operator JAXAN as part of a major deal for the supply of 256 wagons. The contract will be executed by Ermewa during the years 2024 and 2025.

LTG Cargo Ukraine organized transportation of 20 hopper wagons from Ukraine to Lithuania. The fleet belonging to Lithuanian customers was scattered throughout Ukraine, which made the project particularly challenging. AS Operail, the Estonian state-owned rail freight operator, has been put up for sale. On June 6, the Estonian Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal of the Ministry of Climate to privatize the company through a public auction.
On June 17, the Moldovan Railways SE “Calea Ferată din Moldova” will hold an auction for the sale of 32 old wagons. The buyer will pick up the fleet from its location at Chisinau and Balti Slobodziei stations.
