A 17% discount to the railway tariff (coefficient 0.83) is provided for domestic transportation of wheat (UTSNG 011005), barley (014003), corn (015006), rapeseed (021083) and soybeans (018023) within Moldova at a distance of 131-250 km to Giurgiulesti Port station.

The sentiment is worsening on the small-tonnage shipping market. Despite the end of Easter holidays, the market has not shown any hint of the recovery this week. Moreover, activity has expectedly decreased in the Black and Mediterranean Seas by the end of the week amid the Eid al-Fitr holidays in Muslim countries.

The small-tonnage shipping market activity remains quite low as players from EU countries slowly return to the market after Catholic Easter. Note also that we are ahead of Orthodox Easter.
