France’s Saarstahl Rail to supply rails to Ukraine’s Ukrzaliznytsia
Ukrainian state-owned company Ukrzaliznytsia and French rail manufacturer Saarstahl Rail has signed an agreement for the supply of new rails to Ukraine worth €37.6 million.

UZ bans freight transportation to Slovakian Ganyska station near Kosice for some consignees
From December 19 and until the cancellation of this decision, Ukrzaliznytsia introduces restrictions on transportation of any goods from Ukraine to Ganyska station near Košice in Slovakia through the Uzhgorod-exp. station (ŽSR) for the consignees Interport Servise s.r.o. and Areal prekladisko Haniska.
Convention on cargo deliveries to Slovakia via Chop-exp. by ZSSK
Cargo transportation from Ukraine’s stations to Slovakia, Austria and the Czech Republic through the Chop-exp. border crossing (ŽSR, ÖBB, ČD) by a carrier ZSSK Cargo has been banned from December 19 until the cancellation of the decision.
Cargo transportation to hands of one of consignees in Poland banned
In the telegram No. ЦДЗ/392 dated December 16, Ukrzaliznytsia informs about the suspension of transportation of any types of cargo from Ukraine to Poland to the address of Louis Dreyfus Company Polska Sp. z o. o. The convention will be in effect from December 19 until the cancellation of this decision.
