Lithuanian railway company LTG Cargo has taken another step towards integration with European transport systems by registering its wagons in the European Vehicle Register (EVR). This process means a complete shift away from dependence on systems and processes coordinated by the Rail Transport Council in Moscow.
Laude Smart Intermodal, a Polish railway operator, has launched a regular intermodal service providing direct transportation between Ukraine, Poland and the Netherlands. Trains have been running on this route since late November.

In November 2024, Kremenchuk Steel Works produced approximately 1,000 t of large railway steel castings. At the same time, the output of such products averaged some 10,300 t at the plant in January-November 2024.
In December last year, TAS Dniprovagonmash launched a new model of long platforms for large-tonnage containers – an 80-foot railcar model 13-4153, which expanded the range of platforms designed for operation on a 1520 mm gauge.
