In the period from April 2 to July 8, the carrier PKP CARGO S.A. is prohibited from transiting all cargo from Ukrainian railway stations through the Kostrzyn (PKP) and Kustrin-Kietz (DB) border crossings to Poland and Germany for all consignees.

Export deliveries of ferrous metals by railway in February 2024
The railway traffic of rolled steel products, semi-finished products, pipes, pig iron and scrap of ferrous metals decreased by 9% month-on-month to 700,000 t in Ukraine in February. Iron ore railway deliveries from Ukraine in February 2024
A total of 4.1 million t of iron ore were carried by railways in Ukraine in February, showing an increase of 9% compared with January. Iron ore exports rose by 11% month-on-month to 3.3 million t, while home deliveries remained at the level of the previous month, still averaging some 800,000 t.
