Railway transportation of rolled products, semi-finished products, pipes, pig iron and ferrous metal scrap inched down by 4% to 760,000 t in Ukraine in January 2025 compared with December 2024. In particular, exports averaged some 478,800 t of such products (down 5% month-on-month)

The UNIMOT S.A. Group (Poland) is expanding its petroleum product supply logistics: the company is now transporting gasoline to Ukraine by rail. It is about working under an annual contract with the Ukrainian gas station chain OKKO. This is reported by Enkorr with reference to the data of the A-95 Consulting Group.
The volume of iron ore transportation by railway surged to 4.3 million t in Ukraine in January 2025 (up 12% compared with December 2024). Exports increased by 11% month-on-month to 3.3 million t, while domestic deliveries jumped up by 16% month-on-month to approximately 1 million t.
Similar to December 2024, railway deliveries of mineral fertilizers continued gaining pace in January 2025, showing a 21% month-on-month increase to 282,000 t. Domestic supplies surged by 29% month-on-month to 205,000 t, while transportation of imported mineral fertilizers stepped up by 1% to 73,000 t.
