Operail is up for sale
AS Operail, the Estonian state-owned rail freight operator, has been put up for sale. On June 6, the Estonian Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal of the Ministry of Climate to privatize the company through a public auction.
Temporary ban on transportation of all cargoes through Chalupki Gr. – Bohumin border crossing to Poland and Czech Republic
From June 10 to June 14, transportation of goods of any classification from Ukrainian stations via the Chalupki Gr. – Bohumin border crossing to Poland and the Czech Republic is prohibited, except for agreed deliveries to PKP CARGO S.A. through the territory of Poland and the Czech Republic for all consignees.
Sugar exports from Ukraine to the EU suspended
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted Resolution No. 612 of May 30, 2024, which established a zero quota for sugar exports* to the EU from June 1 to the end of the year.

Moldovan Railways to sell old wagons at scrap prices
On June 17, the Moldovan Railways SE “Calea Ferată din Moldova” will hold an auction for the sale of 32 old wagons. The buyer will pick up the fleet from its location at Chisinau and Balti Slobodziei stations.
