Rolling stock manufacturer TransANT (Austria) has received the first two 48-foot open bodies (MultiBOX modular units) manufactured by the Ukrainian plant Dniprovagonmash after the necessary tests for compliance with European standards.

Prices for new freight wagons at some Ukrainian enterprises in November (million UAH, VAT excluding, EXW)
Ukrainian wagon building enterprises all together sold 96 freight wagons in October 2023, including 73 hoppers, 20 flat cars and 3 tank cars.
Approximately 1,200 t of large railway steel castings were produced at the Kremenchuk Steel Works in October 2023. The total production averaged some 9,200 t during the period started January 1 and ended October 31, 2023.

LDZ Cargo, a subsidiary of Latvian Railways, will auction 47 freight cars that were excluded from the company’s inventory. The auction is scheduled for December 12, and the starting price per unit of rolling stock is €220,000.
Siemens Mobility, a German manufacturer, and European Locomotive Leasing Group (ELL), a Vienna and Munich-based company, have signed an agreement for the additional supply of up to 200 Vectron locomotives. This is the fourth agreement between ELL and Siemens Mobility.
Cargounit, a Polish company specializing in rolling stock leasing, received two new Vectron MS locomotives from Siemens Mobility in November and ordered additional electric locomotives.
