Global Ocean Link and Timac Agro to build logistics and production complex for mineral fertilizers near Odesa

November 11, 2025

Global Ocean Link (GOL) and Timac Agro Ukraine are implementing a joint project to build a specialized complex for processing, packaging, and storage of mineral fertilizers, which will be located 20 km from Odesa, on the Kyiv highway.

According to GOL’s social media posts, the new logistics complex will become a key hub for connections with the country’s three main ports (Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Pivdennyi).

The company told Ekonomichna Pravda about the new facility. It is a 6,000 sq m frame complex with a simultaneous capacity of 30,000 tons of bulk products. The first stage of construction will involve creating facilities for receiving, packaging, and logistical processing of fertilizers, with plans to expand into a full-fledged production site in the future. The partners plan to achieve an annual processing volume of 100,000 tons over the next three years.

Construction is scheduled to be completed in May 2026, and the contract between the companies has been signed for five years.

GOL emphasizes that this project is an example of effective attraction of international investments into Ukraine’s logistics infrastructure and development of the Built-to-Suit (BTS) format, where the company acts as a developer and operator.

The complex will specialize in the import and transit of fertilizers by sea, rail, and road, their transshipment in bulk and in containers (500-1200 kg big bags, hoppers, semi-wagons), mixing of granular fertilizers, and storage with guaranteed quotas during peak periods.

Global Ocean Link is a Ukrainian logistics company that has been operating on the multimodal and container transportation market since 2009. In early 2025, it opened two new warehouse complexes on the territory of TIS in the port of Pivdennyi with a total capacity of 25,000 tons.

Timac Agro Ukraine is a subsidiary of the French Groupe Roullier, which has been operating in the Ukrainian market for over 12 years, developing and implementing innovative solutions for soil and plant nutrition.
