The November cargo turnover has been the highest at the port of Klaipeda since January 2022. Thus, the overall cargo handling reached 4.6 million t in November 2025, exceeding the October outcome by 22% or 832,000 t.
Liepaja SEZ’s November cargo turnover appeared the highest this year. The stevedoring companies all together handled a total of 680,000 t of cargo, exceeding the October turnover by 127,000 t.
The Riga Freeport handled a total of 1.4 million t of various goods in October 2025, which is a 131,000 t decrease compared with September.
A total of 3.8 million t of various cargoes were handled at the Port of Klaipeda in October 2025, showing a 13% or 566,000 t decrease from September. Out of the volume, the cargo turnover dropped by 287,000 t to 3.3 million t at Klaipeda State Seaport
The cargo turnover decreased by 13% at the Liepaja SEZ in October 2025. Port operators handled approximately 553,000 t of various cargoes, which is 83,000 t below last month.
