Starting March 16, Maersk shipping company will raise its tariffs for rail container transportation to Ukraine. Maersk Ukraine announced this on its Telegram channel.
The new rates for import and export shipments apply to new orders based on the date of receipt of the Delivery Order and the release date, respectively.
While rates via Gdansk (Gdansk DCT) have remained largely stable, shipping rates for 40-foot containers via Chornomorsk (CFP) have increased for most cities (compared to the rates in effect as of January 5), particularly as follows:
- to Ternopil – from $720 to $990;
- to Kyiv (Boryspil/Kyiv) – from $630 to $900;
- to Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia – from $720 to $960;
- to Kharkiv – from $750 to $960;
- to Vinnytsia – from $690 to $900.
