Ukrzaliznytsia to build 120 new grain hoppers

Transportation of all cargo to Wola Baranowska station in Poland temporarily restricted
From January 18 to January 24, transportation of goods of any classification from Ukrainian stations via the Izov-Exp border crossing (PKP) to the Wola Baranowska station in Poland is prohibited for all consignees.
Discounts for transit through territory of Moldova
Throughout 2024, a discount of 27% will be applied to the tariff for rail transportation of agricultural products in transit through Moldova. Such agreements were reached during a meeting of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Moldovan Mixed Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation on September 29, 2023 in Odesa.

Eesti Raudtee: freight transportation in 2023
According to information provided by the Estonian Railways (AS Eesti Raudtee), the overall volume of cargo transportation decreased by 39% year-on-year to 4.8 million t in 2023. Liquid mineral fuel, liquid cargo and combustible shale were the most popular cargoes in the period under review.

About 790,000 t of grain meant for oversea shipments arrived at Ukraine’s ports in the period under review (against 2.1 million t in December).
