In the period from January 1 to September 30, Latvian Railways (VAS Latvijas dzelzceļš, LDZ) carried 8.63 million tonnes of cargo, down 25.5% year-on-year, according to data provided by the company.
Ban on pellets transportation to Haniska pri Kosiciach station in Slovakia for ZSSK carrier

CLIP Intermodal: new connection Poland-Spain
CLIP Intermodal, a Polish intermodal operator, is launching a new intermodal service between CLIP terminals in Swarzedz (Poland) and Can Tunis in Barcelona (Spain). The planned number of flights is two per week, departing from Swarzedz on Tuesdays and Saturdays and from Barcelona on Saturdays and Tuesdays.
