EU introduces quotas for Ukrainian oats
Ukraine has exceeded the established quotas for oat exports to the EU (2,440 tons) and will now supply products within the DCFTA (Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area) tariff quota of 4,000 tons. It is worth noting that the DCFTA has been in force between the parties since 2016.

NIBULON has transported 73k tons of grain in USAID-provided wagons since August 2023
In 2023, the USAID Economic Resilience Activity purchased and handed over 50 modern grain hoppers with the capacity of 70 tons each to NIBULON. Since August 2023, the company has transported almost 73,000 tons of Ukrainian grain using this rolling stock.

EU Council of Ministers approves construction of 1435 mm railway to Klaipeda
The EU Council of Ministers has approved a new regulation for the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T), which provides for the development of a new European gauge railway line to Klaipeda. The updated document also refers to a transport corridor connecting the Baltic, Black and Aegean Seas and additional connections to Ukraine.
