Handling of grain wagons at Ukraine’s sea ports
More than 7,100 wagons were standing loaded with grain awaiting unloading at Ukrainian sea ports on December 14. With about 987 wagons accepted at the stations a day, it may take up to 7 days to serve all these wagons.

The Lithuanian freight carrier LTG Cargo (Lietuvos Geležinkeliai) is sending a train with groupage cargo of three customers in containers from the Kaunas Intermodal Terminal to Ukraine. The train has already been formed and will carry PET granules, ammonium sulfate, and empty containers.

A total of 1,708 wagons were transferred through the Batiovo – Epereshke land border crossing point in November, showing a handling rate of 57 wagons per day (compared with 56 wagons in the previous month) including 35 wagons with grain (up 1.7 units daily from October).
