Continental Farmers Group forms its own rolling stock for grains
Continental Farmers Group has received the first batch of grain hoppers (50 units) under a contract for 250 hoppers with a body capacity of 116 cubic meters and a lifting capacity of 70.5 tons. Delivery of the remaining rolling stock under the contract is expected in several batches over the coming months.
VILIA and Agroprosperis imported 27,000 tons of Polish fertilizers this year
This year, Volyn-Zerno-Product (VILIA) and Agroprosperis imported 27,000 tons of fertilizers from the Polish manufacturer Grupa Azoty, including 18 trains with 27,000 tons of UAN-32.

Leasing company Alpha Trains expands its locomotive fleet
Alpha Trains, the largest private rolling stock lessor in continental Europe, and Siemens Mobility have signed a framework agreement for the supply of 70 Vectron locomotives, including an initial order for 35 units. The leasing company is expected to receive the first batch of Vectron locomotives at the end of 2026.
TEUS purchases ten grain hoppers
TEUS, a freight forwarding company, has purchased 10 grain hoppers with a loan from Raiffeisen Bank. The fleet was repainted by Novotrain LLC.
Freightliner PL engaged additional fleet for grain transportation
The Polish operator Freightliner PL has expanded its fleet with 40 leased grain hoppers with a lifting capacity of 58 tons. The rolling stock will be used on domestic and international routes.
Production and offer prices of large railway castings in Ukraine
The output of large railway steel castings reached approximately 1,000 t at Kremenchuk Steel Works in July 2024. Meanwhile, the total production was almost 6,000 t in the period from January 1 to July 31, 2024.
