The Przylądek Pomerania Project: a new Baltic Sea port

November 4, 2025

Arkadiusz Marchewka (State Secretary, Ministry of Infrastructure of Poland) confirmed that a new port is planned to be built in Świnoujście. This was reported by the press service of the ports of Szczecin and Świnoujście on LinkedIn.

The Przylądek Pomerania project took many months to complete, involving specialists from a leading consulting firm to study the feasibility of building a port with the planned parameters in Świnoujście. It is to be a developing container terminal, protected by an integrated breakwater, located on the shore and capable of performing additional port functions.

Jarosław Siergiej, President of the Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority (ZMPSiŚ), noted:

“For our port, this is an opportunity to join the European ‘Champions League of ports’.”
