The Romanian freight railroad operator CFR Marfa has transported more than 1 million tons of agricultural products from Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.
LDZ Cargo, a subsidiary of Latvian Railways (Latvijas dzelzceļš), is holding an auction on August 13 to sell two TEP70 locomotives. The starting price for the 0234 locomotive is €102,000, and for that of 0250 is €112,000. The auction step is €5,000.
Railroad operator Lemtrans is building a container terminal in Vinnytsia with an annual capacity of 30,000 TEU. Construction started in spring 2024 and will be carried out in two stages. The total investment will amount to $15 million.
