Slovenia reduces transportation to the Adriatic
According to a letter dated July 7 from Ernest Gortan, Director of the Freight Division of the Slovenian Railways (SŽ-Tovorni promet), the railway’s capacity on the section from the country’s capital Ljubljana to the port city of Koper will be reduced by 50% by the end of this year.

Ellerman City Liners: new domestic intermodal service between Lodz and Gdynia
On June 25, the British shipping company Ellerman City Liners launched an intermodal service between the cities of Lodz and Gdynia as part of the iPEX Polish Shortsea service. The project was launched in cooperation with the Austrian railway operator Bahnoperator.
