Estonian railway operator Operail has received a license from the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (Tarbijakaitse ja Tehnilise Järelevalve Amet) to officially register the C30-M diesel locomotive as a mainline freight locomotive. At the same time, it remains capable of performing shunting operations at stations.
According to preliminary data, the Lithuanian operator LTG Cargo transported a total of 270,000 t of grain in July 2024, showing an impressive 80% year-on-year hike.

TAS Dniprovagonmash has announced that it is starting to implement a contract with an international company (the customer’s information has not yet been disclosed).
