The ORLEN Group announced that it had completed the consolidation of its rail and road transport companies in Poland and the Czech Republic. ORLEN Kolej has become the owner of ORLEN Unipetrol Doprava (100% of shares), which specializes in transportation of chemical products, while ORLEN Transport has acquired Petrotrans (also 100%)

LTG Cargo modernizes Radviliškis Freight Wagon Depot
According to LTG Cargo, the company is carrying out a large-scale modernization of the Radviliškis Freight Wagon Depot in Radviliškis, Lithuania. In particular, the brake shop has been equipped with renovated premises and new equipment, and the development of a project to modernize the assembly shop and install new equipment has begun.

Interpipe announced that it has expanded its Ultimate line of railway products for freight cars by introducing a new niche product – its own ULT 70 wheel sets. The first batch has already been shipped to a customer in France, who is successfully operating them on car carrier trains.
