The railway traffic of rolled steel products, semi-finished products, pipes, pig iron and scrap of ferrous metals increased by 8% month-on-month to 700,000 t in Ukraine in March. In particular, exports dropped by 5% month-on-month to 385,800 t, while domestic supplies surged by 29% month-on-month to 312,000 t.

PKP CARGO to build new multimodal terminal in Radomsko
Polish operator PKP CARGO has signed a memorandum of intent to build a multimodal terminal in Radomsko. The project is aimed at developing a terminal that will combine rail and road transport, reorienting train and truck traffic from the center of Radomsko to its outskirts.

Convention on cargo transportation via Izov-Exp to Poland extended
In the period from April 30 to May 6, the convention will be in effect, which will restrict transportation of mixed fodder (ETSNG 54) from Ukrainian railway stations via the Izov-Exp border crossing (PKP) to Hrubieszow, Szczebrzeszyn and Wola Baranowska stations in Poland for all consignees.
