Hannibal: new connection Italy – Hungary – Romania
Hannibal, a multimodal transportation operator (part of the Contship holding), has announced its plans to launch a new transportation route connecting Budapest (BILK terminal), Curtici (Arad terminal) and Milan (Melzo railway junction) by the end of 2024. The transit time is expected to be 48 hours. Two round trips per week are planned.

The railway traffic of rolled steel products, semi-finished products, pipes, pig iron and scrap of ferrous metals increased by 8% month-on-month to 700,000 t in Ukraine in March. In particular, exports dropped by 5% month-on-month to 385,800 t, while domestic supplies surged by 29% month-on-month to 312,000 t.

PKP CARGO to build new multimodal terminal in Radomsko
Polish operator PKP CARGO has signed a memorandum of intent to build a multimodal terminal in Radomsko. The project is aimed at developing a terminal that will combine rail and road transport, reorienting train and truck traffic from the center of Radomsko to its outskirts.
