Polish railway carrier Silva LS purchases containers for timber transportation
Polish railway carrier Silva LS has replenished its fleet with 90 new side rack containers. The new equipment will be used for the transportation of timber on intermodal platforms.
Caspit Group completes season of potash supplies
Caspit Group of Companies (Serbia, fertilizer producer and trader) is completing the potash supply season by unloading the last batch of 2,800 tons at the Orlivka terminal. The supplies were made from Dehkanabad Potash Plant, located in southern Uzbekistan.
LDZ Cargo reduced starting prices for sale of its locomotives and wagons located in Ukraine
LDZ Cargo, a subsidiary of Latvian Railways (Latvijas dzelzceļš), will hold a second auction for the sale of two TEP70 locomotives on September 12. Note that the previous auction failed due to the lack of bids.
New multimodal complex to be built in Moldova

Ukrzaliznytsia: construction of European gauge railway from Chop to Uzhhorod continues
Ukrzaliznytsia continues to build the European gauge railway from Chop to Uzhhorod, and has started preparing the ground for laying the 1435 mm track. The rail and sleeper grid for this section is being assembled at Ukrzaliznytsia’ own facilities.
