Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company opens navigation on Middle Danube
Due to heavy rainfall, the water level has gradually risen in the upper and then in the middle section of the Danube river. At present, water levels allow working throughout the Danube, and the fleet is being loaded at full draft of 2.5-2.7 meters.
Actual situation: Navigation in Sulina and Bystre Canals
According to Kateryna Kononenko, manager of Avalon shipping, there were less than 50 vessels in the Sulina and Bystre Canals as of November 7. However, the number of ships waiting to enter Romanian ports has recently increased; their idle time at the roadstead reaches five days.
Spain invests in sidings along TEN-T Mediterranean Corridor
Spain’s Ministry of Transport (MITMA) has allocated €36.2 million to upgrade sidings at seven stations between Zaragoza and Tarragona to accommodate 750 m long freight trains. This initiative should increase the capacity for international rail freight transportation along the Madrid-Barcelona route

Port of Constanta: Anchorage for roadstead transshipment to start operating in November
The first anchorage for the transshipment of Ukrainian agricultural products at roadstead should start operating in the Romanian port of Constanta in November. This was announced by the President of the Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA) Mykola Gorbachev.
