Current vessel traffic in Sulina and Bystre canals
About 10 vessels are standing at the roadstead of the Sulina and Bystre canals as of September 17, waiting to sail to the Danube ports, with 15 ships waiting to head for Ukrainian seaports.
Government of Moldova approves draft Agreement on reconstruction of railway corridor
On September 11, the Government of Moldova approved the draft Investment Grant Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the European Investment Bank “Moldova Solidarity Lanes” for the reconstruction of the north-central railway corridor Velchinets – Ocnita – Balti – Ungheni – Chisinau – Cainari by Decision No. 629.
KN Energies and ORLEN extend agreement for use of LNG transshipment station in Klaipeda
International energy terminal operator KN Energies has extended for another five years the strategic partnership agreement with Polish energy company ORLEN on the use of the Klaipeda liquefied natural gas (LNG) transshipment station.

Ukrzaliznytsia continues to build the European gauge railway from Chop to Uzhhorod, and has started preparing the ground for laying the 1435 mm track. The rail and sleeper grid for this section is being assembled at Ukrzaliznytsia’ own facilities.
