Soybean processing capacities to be increased in Ukraine
Astarta Agroholding and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) have signed an agreement to finance the construction of Ukraine’s first soy protein concentrate plant, with investments of up to $40 million. In addition, the plant will also produce soybean molasses, a by-product of the production, for its own biogas needs.
Rail Baltica launches tender for construction works on Kaunas – Panevezys line
LTG Infra (the infrastructure company of LTG Group, Lithuania) plans to extend the construction of the Rail Baltica high-speed railway by another 114 km this year and has announced a new public tender. It is about the construction of an embankment and engineering structures on the Berciunai – Joniskelis section.

Fishka-Nov multimodal terminal to be launched on border with Romania
The construction of the Fishka-Nov multimodal terminal in Hlyboka village (Chernivtsi region) is nearing completion. This facility is expected to become a logistics hub near the Romanian border. The company is currently completing the installation of technical equipment and preparing to launch its main operations.

The Polish city of Chelm (Lublin Voivodeship) has launched a large-scale logistics project to build an intermodal dry port at the intersection of European (1435 mm) and wide (1520 mm) gauge railway lines connecting Poland and Ukraine.
