EU Council of Ministers approves construction of 1435 mm railway to Klaipeda
The EU Council of Ministers has approved a new regulation for the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T), which provides for the development of a new European gauge railway line to Klaipeda. The updated document also refers to a transport corridor connecting the Baltic, Black and Aegean Seas and additional connections to Ukraine.

Maersk: Another container ship to operate between ports of Chornomorsk and Constanta
Maersk will operate another container vessel, the Commander, on the route between the ports of Chornomorsk (Ukraine) and Constanta (Romania). Thus, from now on, the line Chornomorsk – Constanta will be serviced by four vessels: Pros Hope, T Moon, T Mare and Commander.

This year, Switzerland will provide additional grant funding of ₣10 million to restore Ukraine’s railway infrastructure. This funding was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on June 7.
