            Despite the return of many players from Posidonia week, activity has not actually perked up on the small-tonnage market of the Black and Mediterranean Seas (apart from a barely noticeable increase in offer of Ukrainian barley and corn for late June dates).

            The situation remains critical for ship owners working on the small-tonnage shipping market given long list of open vessels in almost every section. As expected, a barely noticeable upturn in shipments of Egyptian fertilizers and Russian steel had no impact on the overall market picture.
