            The start of October has seen increased activity and freight rates in most segments of the small-tonnage shipping market. As expected, grain is the growth driver in the Black and Azov Seas, with the market receiving increasing support from Ukrainian corn, which is gradually beginning to flood the market.

            The small-tonnage shipping market is showing positive trends in all major segments, although current growth rates in the seagoing sector are clearly lower than what we are used to seeing in 2H September.
