As before, the situation can be called tense for charterers working on the Black Sea small-tonnage market, but at least they have managed to stabilize rates this week.
LTG Group indexing freight transportation tariffs
Starting January 1, 2026, LTG Cargo will introduce updated base tariffs for freight transportation and related services (apart from long-term agreements and without additional conditions). Tariffs will generally increase, but with some exceptions.

This week has brought a slight decline in the small-tonnage market activity, primarily in the Black Sea. The fact is that many grain market players had left for Berlin to attend the largest industry event, which inevitably affected grain shipments.

Freight rolling stock rental rates in Ukraine in October 2025
Rental rates of gondola cars started going up in October. In particular, with the lowest rates holding steady, both average and higher rental rates show an increase.
