Export quotes for Kazakh wheat hold steady, with no trade upturn seen so far. As expected, wheat exports are noticeably lower this season.
NIBULON transported almost 30k tonnes of grain with USAID railcars
Since August, when NIBULON received its first grain carriers as part of the USAID Economic Support for Ukrainian project, it has already transported almost 30,000 tonnes of grain.
Handling at Ukraine – Poland border crossings*

Handling at Ukraine – Romania and Ukraine – Moldova border crossings*
About 185 wagons were transferred daily through the the Vadul-Siret – Dornesti (Romania) land border crossing as of December 19 (down 5 wagons in two weeks). By destinations, approximately 146 wagons with export cargo (up 10 units) and 39 wagons with imported goods (down 24 units) were handled daily in the period under review.

Almost 9,400 wagons were waiting for unloading at Ukraine’s western land border crossing points on December 13 (down 1,559 wagons compared with November 29). Alebor Group plans to increase the capacity of Vadul Siret terminal, which operates as a dry port on the border with Romania, if there are enough volumes for transshipment. Currently, the complex can handle up to 70,000 tonnes of cargo per month

More than 7,100 wagons were standing loaded with grain awaiting unloading at Ukrainian sea ports on December 14. With about 987 wagons accepted at the stations a day, it may take up to 7 days to serve all these wagons.
