About 185 wagons were transferred daily through the the Vadul-Siret – Dornesti (Romania) land border crossing as of December 19 (down 5 wagons in two weeks). In the period from December 20, 2023 to January 2, 2024, a convention will be in effect for the carrier Rail Cargo Hungaria Zrt. that will restrict transportation of all cargo from stations in all countries to the Miskolc-Rendezo station in Hungary for the TS Hungaria Kft consignee.
Starting December 17 and until this decision is revoked, a convention will be in effect that will restrict transportation of feed (HS 54) and dairy products (55) through the Izov-Exp border crossing to Poland for all consignees.
Alebor Group plans to increase the capacity of Vadul Siret terminal, which operates as a dry port on the border with Romania, if there are enough volumes for transshipment. Currently, the complex can handle up to 70,000 tonnes of cargo per month
