Railroad operator Lemtrans is building a container terminal in Vinnytsia with an annual capacity of 30,000 TEU. Construction started in spring 2024 and will be carried out in two stages. The total investment will amount to $15 million.
Starting from January 1, 2025, LTG Cargo will no longer share its 1520 mm gauge* car fleet; the freight carrier is at the second stage of withdrawing from the agreement with the Railway Transport Council (Union of Railway Operators, GTT).

On July 28, the Moldovan Railways (Calea Feratã din Moldova) received the first batch of P-65 rails from the Aktobe Rail and Section Works (Kazakhstan) as part of an agreement signed earlier this year. They will be used for the overhaul of railways in Moldova.
