The small-tonnage shipping market picture is looking highly ambiguous these days. On the one hand, the cargo offer for shipments ex Black Sea ports (in particular, from Ukraine and EU countries) is clearly growing.

The overall cargo turnover increased by 166,000 t to 1.4 million t at Riga Freeport in August 2025 compared with July 2025.
