Hannibal: new connection Italy – Hungary – Romania
Hannibal, a multimodal transportation operator (part of the Contship holding), has announced its plans to launch a new transportation route connecting Budapest (BILK terminal), Curtici (Arad terminal) and Milan (Melzo railway junction) by the end of 2024. The transit time is expected to be 48 hours. Two round trips per week are planned.

The Romanian railway company GRAMPET Group has announced the completion of construction and the start of testing of the largest transshipment terminal for agricultural products in Europe located on the Romanian-Ukrainian border in the village of Dornesti (Suceava County). The total investment amount is €10 million.
