Construction of Chernivtsi-Suceava Euro-gauge to begin in 2026
During the conference “Logistics as a Driver of Economic Growth” held by the independent think tank “We Build Ukraine”, Deputy Minister of Finance Oleksandr Kava said that the construction of a 1435 mm track to Romania on the Chernivtsi-Suceava route will begin in 2026. A feasibility study for this project is currently being prepared.

Exports of Ukrainian agricultural products in February 2025
Almost 4.36 million t of agricultural products were exported from Ukraine in February 2025, exceeding the January result by 7% or approximately 300,000 t. Thus, local traders exported 3.82 million t of grain (up 11% year-on-year or 400,000 t), 340,000 t of vegetable oil (down 11% year-on-year or 43,000 t)
BMF Port Burgas launches “From East 2 West Connections” project
To improve rail connections, BMF Port Burgas is launching the “From East 2 West Connections” project to connect two terminals – Burgas East 2 and Burgas West – with a 456-meter railroad. This project was presented in Burgas last week.
