Slovenian Government approves construction project of second railway track on Divaca-Koper line
The Slovenian Parliament has approved a project to double the track on the Divaca-Koper railway line. The total investment in the project will amount to €354 million, with the European Investment Bank covering most of the costs (€250 million).

Railway deliveries of mineral fertilizers to Ukrainian consignees
Railway deliveries of mineral fertilizers slumped by more than three times in September compared with August (down 33% month-on-month to 154,000 t). Domestic supplies dropped by 31% month-on-month to 100,000 t, while transportation of imported mineral fertilizers plunged by 36% month-on-month to 54,000 t.

Privatization of Estonian railway operator Operail
On October 31, the Estonian railway operator AS Operail, according to its press service, entered into an agreement to sell its business to AS Tiigi Keskus RailProject OÜ (part of AS Tiigi Keskus).
GREEN Mobility Partners and Siemens Mobility sign agreement for the supply of Vectron locomotives
The Austrian leasing company GREEN Mobility Partners has reached an agreement with Siemens Mobility to supply 50 Vectron locomotives. The first contract provides for the purchase of eight Vectron MS multi-system electric locomotives, as well as maintenance support (with the option of corrective and preventive maintenance on demand).
