Rental rates for freight wagons remain unchanged in Baltic countries in December compared with November 2025. Only rental rates for boxcars with a body capacity of 161-175 cu m and fitting platforms changed slightly due to currency fluctuations.
On December 16, 2025, specialists from the Moldovan Railway Company conducted technical tests on the Prut-2 (Moldova) – Falciu (Romania) railway section. The purpose of the testing was to check the technical condition of the infrastructure and confirm the readiness of the recently restored section, including the railway bridge over the Prut River.
