On September 25, representatives of Moldova’s railway company Calea Feroviar din Moldova and Carpatica Feroviar România (a freight railway operator that replaced CFR Marfă) signed an agreement on the organization of railway transport for exports and imports, in particular through the new Prut 2-Fălciu border crossing point.

GATX Rail Europe and DB Cargo signed sale-leaseback agreement for 6,000 freight cars
GATX Rail Europe (GRE) and DB Cargo have agreed on a fleet of 6,000 freight cars of various types. According to the company’s press service, GRE will purchase the rolling stock and initially lease it to DB Cargo for several years.
