Ukrzaliznytsia and DAI Global LLC will cooperate to develop Ukrainian grain exports
At the end of September, Ukrzaliznytsia and the development company DAI Global* signed a memorandum on the implementation of the international technical assistance project “Economic Support for Ukraine”, which provides for the development of Ukrainian grain exports by rail.

Three vessels carrying grain and ore left ports of Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi
On October 1, three more bulk carriers used the temporary corridor of the Ukrainian Navy. In particular, the Azara, Ying Hao 01 and Eneida vessels departed from the ports of Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi with 127,000 t of cargo (agricultural products and iron ore).

First batch of coal from Poland arrives in Ukraine
DTEK has delivered the first 70 wagons (a total of 4,200 t) of coal from Poland to one of its TPPs. A total of 210,000 t of coal have been acquired with the supply in the period from September 2023 to March 2024.
Wagon queues at land border crossings*
Approximately 12,100 wagons were waiting for unloading at Ukraine’s western land border crossing points on September 27, exceeding the number of wagons seen on August 30 by some 1,774 wagons. In particular, as many as 3,017 wagons were standing loaded with grain on September 27 (up 388 units compared with August 30)

Handling of grain wagons at Ukraine’s sea ports
About 3,100 wagons with grain were waiting for unloading at Ukrainian sea ports on September 28. Taking into account that approximately 258 wagons per day are accepted at the stations, it will take about 12 days to serve all the wagons currently standing in the railway network waiting for unloading at port terminals.
