According to ORLEN Group, Polish companies ORLEN Kolej, PESA, and Newag have signed an agreement to supply 40 locomotives in 2027-2028. Specifically, 20 units of the 304E Gama will be supplied by PESA, and 20 E6ACTadnb Dragon 2 units will be supplied by Newag.

According to INTERPORT Servis, an agreement has been signed with METRANS (part of Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG / HHLA) to modernize and expand the TIP Košice (Terminál Intermodájne Prepravy) intermodal terminal in Slovakia.
Polish intermodal operator Laude Smart Intermodal has launched a new connection between Turkey and the EU via Ukraine (the port of Chornomorsk). The company announced this on its LinkedIn page. The first train with 50 specialized 20-foot containers departed from Chornomorsk on November 5 this year.

Alstom and Ukrzaliznytsia have signed a contract for the supply of 55 Traxx Hauler electric locomotives, specially adapted to Ukrainian infrastructure. According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the deal is worth around €473 million. The relevant documents were signed on November 17 in the presence of the presidents of Ukraine and France.
Eesti Raudtee and Leonhard Weiss OÜ have signed an agreement to carry out major repairs on the Tartu–Reola railway section. According to Estonian Railways, the total investment will amount to €5.2 million, with the construction work being co-financed by the EU Cohesion Fund.
