Slovakia’s Railtrans International enters Romanian rail transport market
Railtrans International (Richardi Transport, Slovakia) announced that it has acquired a 50% stake in Romania’s EP Rail Group as of October 8. By entering the Romanian rail transport market, the company is expanding its activities in Central and Eastern Europe. It already operates in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Slovakia.
GATX railcars in operation at ENNA Transport, Croatia
According to a press release from GATX Rail Europe, Sggrs(s) 9480A container flatcars, which were leased to Croatian freight carrier ENNA Transport this summer, are already in operation on routes through Croatia, Hungary, and Serbia.
