Suspension of ore and slag transportation to Slawkow LHS station in Poland for Arcelor Mittal Polska
Starting from October 28, transportation of ore, slag and ash (HS 26) from Ukrainian stations via the Izov-Exp border crossing (PKP) to the Slawkow LHS station in Poland for Arcelor Mittal Polska is prohibited.
LDZ Cargo offers freight wagons for rent starting at €6.5 per day
LDZ Cargo has announced the possibility of renting 238 wagons of various types until December 31, 2026 at the lowest possible rate of €6.5 per day (excluding VAT, subject to scheduled repairs at the expense of the lessee). The minimum step to raise the rate is €0.5 per day.
Ukraine’s grain export by railways oversteps 1.3 mmt in October
Almost 1.35 million tonnes of grain were exported from Ukraine by railways during the period started October 1 and ended October 25 compared with 1.07 million t in September. More active work of the temporary Sea Corridor boosted grain inflows to ports.
