Iron ore export deliveries from Ukraine by railway in August 2024
The volume of iron ore transportation by railway dropped by 11% to 3.2 million t in Ukraine in August 2024 compared with July 2024. Exports decreased by 12% month-on-month to 2.3 million t, and domestic deliveries fell by 7% month-on-month to 900,000 t.

The Riga Freeport cargo turnover increased by 80,000 t to 1.35 million t in August compared with July.
Liepaja SEZ cargo turnover in August 2024
The Liepaja SEZ cargo turnover did not change much in August compared with July. The stevedoring companies of the port processed a total of 526,000 t of goods, up insignificant 1% or 5,000 t over the month.
Ban of cargo transportation for ZSSK via Chop-Exp to Slovakia and Czech Republic

Continental Farmers Group forms its own rolling stock for grains
Continental Farmers Group has received the first batch of grain hoppers (50 units) under a contract for 250 hoppers with a body capacity of 116 cubic meters and a lifting capacity of 70.5 tons. Delivery of the remaining rolling stock under the contract is expected in several batches over the coming months.
