Quotes for Russian grains have grown this week. Prices got some support from successful tender in Algeria. During the tender, local buyers have contracted about 400,000 t of wheat, mainly of Russian origin, at $261.5-264.5/t C&F for shipment in August.

Prices for EU grains have surged amid concerns about the new harvest, although export trade is moderate.

Up to 165 wagons per day were transferred through the the Vadul-Siret – Dornesti (Romania) land border crossing as of June 26 (down 4 wagons compared with the previous week).
Handling at Ukraine – Hungary border crossings*
As many as 1,551 wagons were transferred through the Chop – Zahony land border crossing point from June 1 to June 26, with the daily handling rate of 59 wagons (up 19 units per day compared with May).
