Rail Baltica launches tender for construction works on Kaunas – Panevezys line
LTG Infra (the infrastructure company of LTG Group, Lithuania) plans to extend the construction of the Rail Baltica high-speed railway by another 114 km this year and has announced a new public tender. It is about the construction of an embankment and engineering structures on the Berciunai – Joniskelis section.

EU-Ukraine Solidarity Lanes: contract for feasibility study signed
On April 24, Minister of Regional Development of Poland Katarzyna Pelczynska-Nalecz met with Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine – Minister for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba. As a result, a contract was signed to develop a feasibility study for the EU-Ukraine Solidarity Lanes railway project
Fishka-Nov multimodal terminal to be launched on border with Romania
The construction of the Fishka-Nov multimodal terminal in Hlyboka village (Chernivtsi region) is nearing completion. This facility is expected to become a logistics hub near the Romanian border. The company is currently completing the installation of technical equipment and preparing to launch its main operations.
Innofreight’s ChemieTainer containers for fertilizer transportation put into operation
German mining company K+S has put into operation the first 60 20-foot ChemieTainer containers developed by Innofreight, which will be used for intermodal transportation of fertilizers to Poland. The first shipment was delivered to the German company Werra (part of K+S), which produces 20 million tons of potash annually.
