The SM48 series locomotive type 20D “Mikołaj” modernized by the Polish company Tabor Dębica has received a certificate of conformity for the type of railway vehicle.
According to the announcement by Polish railway operator PKP LHS of March 2, the company is offering its customers special discounts for transportation of coal (HS 2701), iron ore (2601) and metal products (72, 73) when importing and transiting from/through all LHS stations.
A total of 17.7 million tonnes of cargo of various product groups were transported by railway in Poland in January 2024 (unchanged month-on-month but down 13% year-on-year).
