Wagon queues at land border crossings*
Almost 10,900 wagons were waiting for unloading at Ukraine’s western land border crossing points on November 29, down 1,962 wagons compared with October 31. In particular, as many as 1,640 wagons were standing loaded with grain on November 29 (down 986 units compared with October 31)

About 9,800 wagons with various goods were waiting for a transfer through Ukraine’s western land border crossing points on November 30 compared with 11,600 wagons in late October.
Freight rolling stock sales by Ukrainian enterprises in October
Ukrainian wagon building enterprises all together sold 96 freight wagons in October 2023, including 73 hoppers, 20 flat cars and 3 tank cars.
Production and offer prices of large railway castings in Ukraine
Approximately 1,200 t of large railway steel castings were produced at the Kremenchuk Steel Works in October 2023. The total production averaged some 9,200 t during the period started January 1 and ended October 31, 2023.
Zaporizhstal. Actual production in November
Zaporizhstal produced about 262,700 t of pig iron in November 2023, achieving a 83% hike year-on-year but showing a 2% decrease month-on-month. The enterprise also produced 240,800 t of steel (up 181% year-on-year but down 4% month-on-month) as well as 195,600 t of rolled products (up 161% but down 6%, respectively).

LDZ Cargo puts 47 freight wagons up for auction
LDZ Cargo, a subsidiary of Latvian Railways, will auction 47 freight cars that were excluded from the company’s inventory. The auction is scheduled for December 12, and the starting price per unit of rolling stock is €220,000.
